Anyone without the code isn’t going anywhere. The Scorpion X is not TASSA accredited. If your insurer specifies a TASSA-approved system, choose the Nitro Pro or the Autowatch Ghost II — both are TASSA approved, and both are £499 supplied and fitted, the same price as the Scorpion X.

The Bluetooth version. Carry the paired tag — or pair your mobile phone — and the immobiliser disarms automatically as you get in, with your PIN sequence always there as backup. All the same covert CAN-bus protection, with everyday convenience built in. TASSA approved.
