What Is the Nitro Pro Immobiliser?

The Nitro Pro is a TASSA-approved CAN-bus immobiliser that adds a hidden, second layer of security your car didn’t leave the factory with. It connects invisibly to your vehicle’s CAN network — no cut wires, no aftermarket look — and simply refuses to let the engine start until it recognises you. Carry the paired Bluetooth tag or pair your mobile phone and it disarms automatically as you get in; your personal PIN sequence, entered on the vehicle’s own buttons, is always there as backup.

Because the thief’s tools never come into play — there’s nothing to relay, nothing to clone and nothing to plug into — the Nitro Pro defeats the three methods behind most modern car theft: relay attacks on keyless entry, key cloning and OBD-port theft. How It Works

Every time you switch off the engine, the Nitro Pro arms itself automatically. When you return, it looks for your paired Bluetooth tag or smartphone — find it, and the car starts as normal, with nothing extra to do. If the tag isn’t present (or its battery is flat), you can disarm with your personal PIN sequence using the buttons already in your car — steering wheel, pedals or dash. Without the tag, phone or PIN, the engine will not start. Even if a thief has your actual key in their hand, the car stays put.

Does it stop relay theft and key cloning?

Yes. The engine will not start without your Bluetooth tag, paired phone or PIN — so a relayed signal, cloned key or OBD tool gets a thief nowhere, even with your key in their hand.

Will my insurer recognise it?

The Nitro Pro is TASSA-approved and we’re a TASSA-registered installer (Member No. 0009), which is the recognition many insurers ask for. We provide certification with every install.
