A dash cam you can actually check on
A normal dash cam only helps after the event, once you have pulled the memory card. The live view camera has its own 4G connection and built-in GPS, so it reports back to your phone wherever the vehicle is. You can open a live stream, check the location on a map, and request recorded footage without going near the car.
If the camera detects an impact, or the panic button is pressed, the clip is uploaded to the cloud automatically, so the evidence is safe even if the camera or card is damaged or taken. The unit we fit is the Queclink CV200 4G smart dash camera, and every installation includes a 256GB SD card.

The Subscription — £11.99 a Month
The camera needs a subscription because it has its own 4G SIM and sends video and location over the mobile network. The price is the same whichever camera option you choose, and it covers everything below with no separate data bill.

How much does a live view dash camera cost fitted?
The front camera is £299 supplied and fitted. The front and internal camera is £349 supplied and fitted. Both include a 256GB SD card, and the subscription for either is £11.99 a month.
What does the £11.99 a month cover?
Live streaming, real-time GPS tracking, video on demand, automatic cloud upload of impact and panic button clips, the mobile app, and the 4G SIM and data with UK and EU coverage.
Do I need my own SIM card or Wi-Fi?
No. The camera comes with its own multi-network SIM and the data is included in the subscription, so it works wherever there is mobile signal.
Is this the same as a Thatcham tracker?
No. The camera shows you where the vehicle is, but it is not a Thatcham S5 or S7 tracker and will not meet an insurer’s tracker requirement. If your insurer asks for one, we fit Thatcham-approved trackers as well, and the two work well together.
Will a camera stop my car being stolen?
A camera records and reports; it does not stop the engine being started. To prevent the car being driven away, pair it with an immobiliser.
