What Information We Collect
Enquiries. When you contact us through our website form, by phone, email or WhatsApp, we collect the details you give us — typically your name, phone number, email address, postcode, vehicle registration and your message. We use these to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes and arrange installations.
Orders. If you buy through our online shop, we collect your name, billing/delivery address, email, phone number and order details so we can fulfil your order. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.
Website usage. We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). Our hosting and caching also keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and performance.
How We Use Your Information (Legal Bases)
We use your information to respond to enquiries and provide quotes (legitimate interest and steps prior to a contract), to carry out installations and fulfil orders (performance of a contract), to keep records we’re legally required to keep, such as invoices for tax purposes (legal obligation), and to keep our website secure and improve it (legitimate interest). We do not sell your information, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked for them.
Who We Share It With
We only share your information where it’s needed to provide our services: with product manufacturers or monitoring providers when registering a device fitted to your vehicle (for example immobiliser or tracker registration and subscriptions), with our payment provider to process shop payments, and with the companies that host our website and deliver our email. We may also share information where required by law. All providers we use are required to protect your data.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. Records of installations and purchases are kept for up to 6 years, as required for tax and warranty purposes. Technical logs are kept for short periods for security.
Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work — for example to power the shopping basket and checkout, and for site performance (caching). Embedded content such as Google Maps and YouTube videos may set their own cookies when you interact with it, governed by those providers’ own policies.
Your Rights
