Keyless-Go Is the Way In

Mercedes’ Keyless-Go convenience is exactly what relay thieves exploit: capture the key’s signal through your front door, and the car unlocks and starts as if the key were in the thief’s pocket. C-Class, E-Class, A45s and G-Wagens are all taken this way, and Sprinter and Vito vans are hammered for both the vehicles and the tools inside. Factory security doesn’t stop a relayed signal — to a Mercedes, a relayed key is the key.

Yes — Keyless-Go keeps working normally. The immobiliser simply refuses to let the engine run until your PIN sequence is entered, which is exactly what makes a relayed key useless.
