The Nitro Pro is the Bluetooth member of the Nitro CAN-bus immobiliser family (also known as the Nemesis 2), engineered specifically for Toyota and Lexus — two of the most heavily targeted makes in the UK for key cloning and relay theft. Rather than cutting into the loom, it communicates with the vehicle’s own CAN-bus network, so nothing about the car’s wiring is altered.
Why Toyota and Lexus owners fit it
Thieves working these makes rarely need to break anything. A relay device captures the signal from a key indoors, or a tool plugged into the OBD port programs a fresh key in under a minute. The Nitro Pro sits behind all of that: without the paired tag, phone or PIN sequence, the engine will not start, no matter what key the vehicle has been given.
How it works day to day
Carry the Bluetooth tag or pair your phone and the immobiliser disarms as you approach — you drive away exactly as you always have. If the tag battery dies or the phone is left at home, a PIN sequence entered through buttons already in the car gets you moving.
